Shotokan has spread to become the most widely practised style of Karate throughout the world
Its structured training system creates self-discipline and improves behaviour in many aspects of peoples lives as well as developing fitness strength and suppleness
Sunday we took a small but very spirited team to the KUGB Shotokan Cup in Chesterfield.
Everyone gave a fantastic account of themselves again

Last weekend we had our 2nd grading of the year. In total we had 52 candidates that successfully passed their examination under the watchful eye of Sensei Garry Harford 8th Dan. Well done everyone!
A special congratulations goes to Olly Hayward who was awarded the Andy Kemery Memorial Trophy for being the most outstanding student!

Last weekend we had the official opening of our new dojo. Sensei Garry Harford 8th Dan put some of our high grades through their paces as a “welcome”
The day was made even better by our great friends Sensei John and Holly Bruce and Sensei Alex Cockx coming down from Sunderland and Manchester to support us
