City of Liverpool Youth Championships - 2026

Well done to all of our members that competed at the City of Liverpool Youth Championships.
Everyone that travelled and represented the club put out some great performances against some very strong opponents. The standard at this competition is always very high and yesterday was no exception.
In total the club came away with an impressive 19 medals!
A special mention to Sensei Thomas who in his last “Youth” competition was crowned Grand Champion for winning both the Men’s Kata and Kumite. This is a very rare event as an adult and shows his exceptional all round Karate ability.
He was also awarded The Kathy Hutchinson perpetual trophy for being the most outstanding competitor on the day. Making him the first competitor to win it twice since its inception.
