We had a great day in Chesterfield at the KUGB 40th Shotokan Cup (British Individual Championships for Brown & Black belts). There were a number of excellent performances from Solihull Karate Academy students with an outstanding achievement from Thomas Hegarty.

Thomas won a Bronze medal in his first outing in the 10-11 years Kumite category.

Thomas also had the honour of having a photo with the brilliant Holly Sterling who won Gold in the Senior Female Kata.
